Xiaomi phones to be sold in USA by a third-party
The world’s fourth biggest smartphone maker (China’s Xiaomi) are going on sale in US for the first time,despite some reservations.
The US mobile carrier said it would be importing a range of Xiaomi phones into US from China and they would be sold online within this week.
However,these phones would not include xiaomi latest brands like the -High end Mi Note.Also, it will not run on 4g networks within US.
The US mobile carver says, it would also sell phones from another chinese gigantic manufacturer, MEIZU .
PC Mag UK said the available brands of phones online wll include:
Xiaomi Redmi 2 worth $199,Xiaomi Mi 3 worth $135,Meizu Note 2 worth $149 and xiaomi Mi worth $129.
Xiaomi has outstrip itself from the move. “There are no plans to sell smartphones through any authorised distributors in the US.” a spokeswoman told the BBC.
“US Mobile is not authorised to sell Xiaomi products in the US.”
GLOBALLY
Xiaomi is seen as china’s Apple and is cognised in many parts of Asia due to its low-cost smartphones,which sells Half the cost of an iphone.
Until this week, Xiaomi phones have been impossible to buy in the US .
“US consumers have traditionally had to compromises to afford incredible devices.” said US Mobile founder and chief executive Ahmed Khattak.
US Mobile uses the T-Mobile network in providing low-cost services for all range of phones to it customers(which includes services and support to Chinese- brand phones).
