In 2015, for its third edition, The Ampion Venture Bus Africa will take over 200 Ampioneers on 5 buses. 50% of the Ampioneers comes from Africa, the other 50% come from all over the world. We are specifically looking for entrepreneurial talent who strive to enhance their skills, international contacts and business partners. With specific focus tracks on the Venture Bus East (e-health), West (fin-tech), Southern (hardware & agriculture) Africa and Tunisia (female empowerment) we are also looking for experts in these fields to apply!

Because they believe in the entrepreneurial spirit of young women, we aim to have a minimum of 50% of female Ampioneers on each bus.

In addition to their outstanding entrepreneurial skills, the participants will posses sound knowledge in either IT, web design, new media or business development.

We bring together change makers and tech experts on a 7-day road trip across the continent, to turn business ideas into real projects. We connect our participants with the biggest tech HUBs across 16 African countries and help to build lasting business ties with investors, co-founders and the local startup scene.

Our goal is to empower highly talented entrepreneurs to develop innovative tech solutions and make a tangible impact in their African communities together with other entrepreneurs from all over the world who want to tap into the fastest growing tech & mobile markets world-wide and make a difference.  Along the journey, the Ampioneers conceive and launch startups and contribute to creating roundbreaking innovation and a community of entrepreneurial talent in Africa.

Each Venture Bus tour culminates in a Grand Final at one of Africa’s biggest tech conferences such as AfricaCom in Cape Town, South Africa, where the participants will pitch on stage to a high-level jury to crown the winner. The best startups have the chance to apply for the 12 months Ampion Fellowship Program including mentorship, a small grant and office space.
